The participants of the 26th BMA Mid-Level Executive Training Program gave presentation of their academic work on “New Normal to New BMA Schools”. An exhibition was also held to show education implementation guidelines and procedures in the future.
Main idea of the study and presentation of academic work derived from the concern of the training program participants regarding the current situation where coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is rapidly spreading worldwide. COVID-19 has affected global population in various dimensions especially in terms of education which is the field that the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration always attaches importance to.
Results of the survey and study of data, collected from both inside and outside the country, became the conceptual framework for providing recommendations and specifying guidelines for the new development of BMA education amid the global situation of COVID-19 pandemic. The recommendations and guidelines can be summarized into 3 aspects, namely increasing of efficiency in teaching and learning of BMA affiliated schools, increasing of efficiency of safety standard, and management and budgeting.
