People with volunteer spirit in East Bangkok area join hands in canal development

(July 30, 2020) Mr. Kriangyos Sudlabha, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, presided over the opening ceremony of volunteer spirit activities in the theme of “We do good deeds for Nation, Religion, and Monarchy”, on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s birthday anniversary July 28, 2020.  The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration executives, officials, personnel of East Bangkok district zone, Metropolitan Police Stations located in the area, and people with volunteer spirits worked together in developing and improving landscape, collecting waste, trimming trees, and getting rid of weeds and water hyacinth at Nong Takra Canal, Lat Krabang District. The activities started from Prawet Burirom Canal to the end of Bangkok boundary, which is 850 meter-long, in order to clear the water pathway, increase capacity of drainage system, and develop quality of life of people living along both sides of the canal.
