(August 20, 2020) Mr. Sakoltee Phattiyakul, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, presided over the Opening Ceremony of Rom Klao Fire and Rescue Station, Lat Krabang District.
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has a policy to establish fire substations scattering in risky areas to conveniently and rapidly mitigate any disaster or incident andto decrease the loss in lives and properties of the people. Rom Klao Fire and Rescue Station is one of the five additional pilot fire and rescue stations established under the “NOW” policy to “instantly push forward, swiftly fix” of Pol. Gen. AswinKwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok. The goals are to establish more fire stations to cover all area of Bangkok in order to ensure the people spend their daily lives safely, to increase work efficiency and to prepare for disaster prevention and mitigation in the Bangkok area.
Rom Klao Fire and Rescue Station is a new fire substation located at Soi Kheha Rom Klao 33, Kheha Rom Klao Road, Khlong Song Ton Nun Sub-District, Lat Krabang District. The land is owned by the National Housing Authority and the BMA receives the permission to use the 2-Rai space in the area of Rom Klao Community Housing Project 3 to establishthe Rom Klao Fire and Rescue Station. This station is ready to provide assistance to the people in case of fire or disaster in the area of Lat Krabang District and its neighborhoods rapidly and immediately with high efficiency.
