(August 25, 2020) Mrs. Silapasuai Rawisaengsun, Permanent Secretary for the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) presided over the opening ceremony of the Sathon District’s “Royal Thai Volunteer Hall of Fame” and gave souvenirs to the people who support the establishment of “Royal Thai Volunteer Hall of Fame”. Moreover, the Permanent Secretary together with BMA executives planted Yellow Star trees, improved landscape and painted curbs in front of Sathon District Office.
The Sathon District’s “Royal Thai Volunteer Hall of Fame” located at the 1st floor of Sathon District Office. Objectives of the Hall of Fame are to display activities and implementation results of the Royal Thai Volunteers as well as to declare and publicize noteworthy achievements of individuals who are the role models of Royal Thai Volunteer Administration Center of Sathon District.
In this regard, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has established the “Royal Thai Volunteer Hall of Fame” to collect and showcase information and achievements of missions of the Royal Thai Volunteers in Bangkok metropolitan areas. This is also the place to publicize as well as to honor and praise the Royal Thai Volunteers who have been doing good things for the nation. All types of cooperation from both public and private sectors have been integrated with the aim to establish the Halls of Fame at all 50 district offices. At present, the BMA has opened 11 “Royal Thai Volunteer Halls of Fame”. For the people who are interested in visiting the “Royal Thai Volunteer Hall of Fame”, it is open Monday to Friday, from 08.30 to 16.30 hrs.
