“Line@aswinbkk”, the new complaint channel for Bangkok residents

(August 31, 2020) Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, chaired the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Executives Meeting.

Related agencies reported the progress of the project to inspect, monitor, and solve problems and handle complaints via Line chat, “Line@AswinKlaiTuk” which means Aswin solves the problems (@aswinbkk), according to the policy of Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok. This aims to improve the convenience for the public in filing complaints, grievances and problems, and providing suggestions via Line Application such as flood, street lighting, road deterioration, garbage, and other problems. At present, the number of complaints filed through Line are continuously higher than other channels

From June 24, 2020 until present, the total number of reports made by the people is 26,029. The reports can be divided into 23,510 complaints (90.33%) and 2,519 reports on other matters (9.67%). The total number of matters that are completely solved is 22,689 (96.21%) and the total number of matters that are in progress is 821 (3.49%).

In this regard, the meeting resolved to assign all related agencies to publicize the above-mentioned complaint channel to be widely known to the public. The publicity campaign must be added at the BMA agencies where the large amount of people come to use the services such as district offices, hospitals, public health centers, and BMA affiliated schools.

The people who would like to file complaints or report the problems via Line chat, “Line@AswinKlaiTuk”, can make a search in Line Application by typing “@aswinbkk”. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has provided officers to receive complaints, coordinate with related agencies to solve the problem and report back to the people who filed the complaints.
