Kiosk rental fee suspending from BMA’s associated markets

BMA Spokesman, Pol.Capt. Pongsakorn Kwanmuang, said the new measures has introduced to help vendors of the BMA’s associated markets, as the impact of curfew currently imposed did temporary closed down markets and stores to prevent the spread of COVID-19 outbreak, vendors were affected with their responsible for paying the rental fee. The BMA then decided to suspending the rental fee on 10 BMA’s associated markets, effective from March until the COVID-19 outbreak will be resolved.

Regarding the case of Chatuchak market, the BMA has a rental agreement with the State Railway of Thailand, therefore reference letters will be sent to request for suspension on the kiosk rental fee, effective from March until November.
