Free exhibition on the architecture of 13 monuments, September 3 – 7, 2020, at Siam Paragon

(September 3, 2020) Bangkok Metropolitan Administration by the City Planning and Urban Development Departmentorganized an event called “the Story…Bangkok Monuments: How to Rehabilitate the Monuments to be Valuable” at the North Colonnade, 3rd floor, Siam Paragon, Pathum Wan District.

The event aims to exhibit history and background as well as architectural styles of 13 monuments to the general public free of charge from 3 to 7 September 2020 during 10.00 – 22.00 hrs., at the North Colonnade, 3rd floor, Siam Paragon.

Bangkok Metropolitan Administration by the City Planning and Urban Development Department is responsible for taking care of and maintaining 13 monuments located in Bangkok Metropolitan area, namely, 1.  Monument of King PhraBuddha Yodfa Chulaloke (Rama I), 2. Sahachart Memorial (Pig Memorial), 3. Democracy Monument, 4. The First World War Volunteers Memorial, 5. Sculpture of the Mother Earth Squeezing Her Hair in Uthokkathan, 6. Monument of King Phra Nangklao Chao Yu Hua (Rama III), 7. Monument of King Phra Chom Klao Chao Yu Hua (Rama IV), 8. Monument of King Phra Chulachomklao Chao Yu Hua (Rama V), 9. Wongwian Yi Sip Song Karakadakhom Monument, 10. Monument of King Phra Mongkut Klao Chao Yu Hua (Rama VI), 11. Victory Monument, 12. Monument of King SomdetPhra Chao Tak Sin the Great, and 13. Monument of King PhraParamenthra Maha Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII).

The BMA invites the public to the “the Story…Bangkok Monuments: How to Rehabilitate the Monuments to beValuable” with free admission during 3 – 7 September 2020 at10.00 – 22.00 hrs., the North Colonnade, 3rd floor, Siam Paragon.
