District offices urged to inform donors to notify the district of the donation in advance, for safety of donors and recipients

On 21st April 2020, Pol. Lt. Gen. Sopon Pisuttiwong, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, presided over the meeting of the BMA’s Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration, No. 28/2020.

The meeting focused on the current situation of the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).  As of 21st April 2020, 7 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed and the total confirmed cases were 1,447.  Among the confirmed cases, 207 were undergoing treatment in hospitals and 1 patient has died, which brought the total number of death to 20.

The meeting assigned 50 district offices to rapidly inform those who would like to organize donation activity for food and necessary items to notify the district office in advance in order that the authorized officer can facilitate and manage the donation to go smoothly and properly for safety of both donors and recipients.
