On 2nd July 2020, Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, revealed that the meeting of BMA executives reported the preparedness for the opening of the first semester of BMA’s affiliated schools. The schools that are ready in terms of venues and facilities can be opened for normal teaching and learning under the control measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
For schools with limited areas, students will study at school on alternate days. On the days that students do not come to school, there will be supplementary online learning. Anyhow, the BMA gained cooperation from various schools in creating the additional instructional media for online learning.
As a result of the visit to Prachaniwet School, it is found that the school has interactive boards (smartboards) installed for the purpose of teaching and learning. It is considered greatly beneficial for students and can significantly enhance efficiency in children’s teaching and learning. Therefore, the BMA plans to acquire interactive boards (smartboards) in order to have them installed at all 6 district clusters by coordinating with other organizations or donors to support the installation.
