BMA to open 4 new BTS Green Line skytrain stations and to officially open “Chao Phraya Sky Park” in June

On 25th May 2020, Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, presided over the meeting of BMA’s executives No. 11/2020.

The meeting reported the readiness for opening the extended BTS Green Line route, which operates between Mochit – Saphan Mai – Khu Khot and will have 4 new stations added, from Kasetsart University station (N 13) to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat (N 17). The prime minister will open the route test run on 4th June 2020.

For the construction progress of the sky park between the in-and-outbound lanes of the Phra Pok Klao Bridge, which includes of walkway and a bicycle lane and will connect transportation between the Thon Buri and Bangkok sides with the distance of 280 meters long.

The development has been progressed with its naming contest held by the BMA, which had already ended with the selection of suitable name, that is “Chao Phraya Sky Park”. The project is expected to be finished in early-June 2020.
