BMA recommends alcohol use disorder to treat at BMA’s affiliate hospital or public health center for free of charge

Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, revealed that from the announcement of the BMA No.6, as an Order of Temporary Closure of Premises to temporary close restaurant or liquor distributor both Wholesale and retail from 10 to 20 April 2020. The measure aim to reduce the spread of COVID-19, prevent it from extent to wider area and lower down infection chance.

For the alcohol use disorder who unable to limit the amount of alcohol they drink or experiencing withdrawal symptoms such as sweating, shaking, nausea and hallucination can request for a free treatment at 10 BMA’s affiliated hospitals and 68 public health centers near their location.
