(August 31, 2020) Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, presided over the ceremony to present the 2020 Quality Award for Service Delivery of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to promote and support the BMA agencies in developing the quality of service delivery.
This will encourage the BMA agencies to diligently and earnestly perform their duties and to become the role model for other agencies in developing service delivery system and management system. Moreover, it is the dissemination of knowledge on service delivery to be widely known among the public.
As for the Quality Award for Service Delivery of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for the fiscal year 2020, the agencies who win Outstanding Awards received the BMA Quality Award for Service Delivery plaques with the prize money of 100,000 Baht. The agencies who win the Honorable Mention Awards received the BMA Quality Award for Service Delivery plaques. The awards were categorized into 4 achievements concerning work procedures and 4 achievements concerning service delivery innovations.
The Governor of Bangkok said that the BMA has the main responsibilities in developing the city and taking care of good quality of life and well-being of Bangkok residents. The presentation of BMA Quality Award for Service Delivery is one of the actions to promote and encourage BMA agencies to develop and improve the service delivery which will lead to the overall operational efficiency development of the organization and utmost benefit of the public. This also raises spirits and boosts morale of the officers so that they will strive for building their capacities for better performance in the future.
