BMA hands relief supply kits out to 10 communities, 3,640 households

On 10th May 2020, Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, with his spouse Mrs. Wasana Kwanmuang, visited and distributed relief supply kits to people suffered from the spread of COVID-19, in Eastern Bangkok area zone consisting of Min Buri District covering 257 households, Khlong Sam Wa District covering 1,902 households, and Khan Na Yao District covering 547 households. Most of the communities do not register with their district offices and some of the registered communities have never received any assistance.

On the same day, Mr. Sakoltee Phattiyakul, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, distributed relief supply kits to people suffered from the spread of COVID-19 in 3 communities of Bang Khen District covering 934 households. He was also accompanied by BMA executive team and Bang Khen district officers to keep order and advise people in the area to look after themselves by washing their hands regularly, wearing face masks and keeping 1 to 2 meters of physical distancing in accordance with the protective measures against the spread of COVID-19.
