BMA cleans drainage channels at Khao San Road, finding scraps in gutters and pipes

On 29th June 2020, Mr. Sakoltee Phattiyakul, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, had a site visit to inspect the cleaning of drainage channels along Khao San Road. It was found that scraps and unwanted materials from the renovation of Khao San Road were accidentally dropped and fell into gutters and pipes which cause problem to the drainage system of Khao San Road.

As gutters of Khao San Road is a part of Khao San Road Renovation Project, thus the BMA advised the contractor to remove all the scraps and clean the gutters along the road to solve the problem.  The contractor will complete this work within 2 days.

The BMA also assigned Phra Nakhon District Office to frequently check gutters and if there is any flood, the cleaning must be done urgently.
