850 communities in Eastern Bangkok area zone receive BMA’s relief supply kits

On 14th May 2020, Pol.Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, had on-site visits to distribute relief supply kits consisting of consumer goods such as rice, instant noodles, canned food, vegetable oil, fish sauce, seasoning sauce, sugar, washing powder etc. These items were donated by private sector as well as kind and helpful people without using the BMA’s budget, with the aim to relieve burdens of people suffering from the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).  The donated items have been distributed to various communities that have never received any assistance from any agencies.

For today, the Governor of Bangkok together with the BMA’s executive team have visited and distributed relief supply kits at Nong Chok District covering 600 households and then at Saphan Sung District covering 250 households.
