50 district offices change their registration services to reduce visitors.

Mrs. Silapasuai Rawisaengsun, Permanent Secretary for BMA, revealed that due to COVID-19 outbreak, 50 district offices have changed their registration services to reduce an amount of visitors on working days from 08.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. The civilian registrations provide only birth and death notification, identification cards, marriage and divorce registrations and issuing of legal documents.

On weekends and public holidays, the district offices will only grant the service of birth and death notifications, from 08.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. In urgent cases, visitors can request for their legal documents, which depend on the consideration of the district offices. The registration services are valid from now on until the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak will be resolved.
